Middle East politics

To my friends who are a bit muddled by what's going on in the Middle East I will attempt to explain it all.

Middle East politics for Dummies:

Turkey & Gulf States are strong allies of The West (US, UK, France). The West hates Iran.

The West, Gulf States & Turkey hate Assad
Russia, China & Iran support Assad

Turkey & The West are pro Egypt's elected leadership - Muslim Brotherhood (MB)
Iran, The West (not a typo, they appear in both), Assad, & Gulf States support Gen Sisi (military coup leader)

Iran & Hizbulla support Hamas, who is pro Egypt MB.
The West, Russia & Gulf States hate Hamas.
Turkey likes Hamas.

Gulf States & the West supported Arab Spring in Syria & Lybia but not in Egypt, Yemen or Bahrain
Iran, Turkey, China & Russia did not support Arab Spring in Lybia, but supported it in Egypt, Yemen and Bahrain.
Iran, Russia & China didn't support Arab Spring in Syria but Turkey did.
Does that help? See, it’s simple and clear!

By the time you get here you either have it all clear, or you just completely lost it. Either ways, welcome to the Middle East politics.

One last point, the people there hate all the leaders, because they are puppets installed by The West, and therefore they hate the West. However, everyone dreams of a day to migrate out of the Middle East and live in The West...
